What is your favorite part of this book and why?
I love the scenes where Rocky goes back to the campsite to find more clues. Something different happens every time she is there, which is fun and exciting.
If you could spend time with a character from your book whom would it be? And what would you do during that day?
Hmm. I think I would go out on a romantic date with Angelo, the hot firefighter.
What books/authors have most inspired you?
M. C. Beaton. Agatha Christie. Janet Evanovich. Sara Paretsky.
Are your characters based off real people or did they all come entirely from your imagination?
Rocky is like me, but younger and braver. And her father is a lot like my dad.
What made you want to become a writer?
I just love the mystery genre. I once read a book that was only so-so and I thought, “Heck, I can do better than this!”
