The white clapboard Town Hall has watched over Town Square for generations.
Its broad front porch welcomes neighbors with gently rocking chairs, overflowing flower boxes, and the comforting creak of worn wooden floorboards beneath your feet. Above the porch, the old clock quietly marks the passing of each day, while warm afternoon light spills through tall windows onto polished pine floors inside.
This has always been more than the town’s meeting place.
It’s where stories are preserved.
Where traditions are remembered.
Where visitors become neighbors.

Founders’ Day preparations begin.
Fresh flowers brighten the front porch, and new maps and seasonal guides appear in the Information Stand.
The windows open to the sounds of celebrations beginning in Town Square.
Summer
Walking tours set out across town.
Music drifts across the Square.
Community festivals fill the calendar, and the clock tower watches over long evenings beneath the stars.
Autumn
Pumpkins, mums, and colorful wreaths welcome visitors to the porch.
Neighbors gather in Town Square for harvest celebrations, storytelling, and traditions passed from one generation to the next.
Winter
Warm lights glow through every window.
The clock tower rises above the Town Tree and holiday celebrations below.
Evergreen garlands frame the porch as another year in Sarandipity draws gently to a close.
That keeps the seasonal atmosphere without inventing rooms we’re no longer using.
Around Town Hall
The white clock tower rises above Town Square, its steeple visible from nearly every path through the center of town.
A broad covered porch stretches across the front of the white clapboard building, with rocking chairs, hanging ferns, overflowing flower boxes, and well-worn wooden steps welcoming anyone who wanders by.
The Information Stand sits beneath the shelter of the porch, its wooden rack filled with maps and brochures waiting to be picked up.
Nearby, the Great Oak offers a shady place to rest.
From the porch, neighbors can see the Fountain, Gazebo, Gathering Lawn, and Neighborhood Notices Board.
Every path seems to pass Town Hall eventually.
Perhaps that’s why it has always felt less like an official building and more like the town’s front porch.

The rocking chairs grow still as the last conversations drift away.
Tomorrow, another story will be shared.
Another tradition remembered.
