I knew that our youngest daughter was going to be engaged soon, so I enrolled at BCIT and got
my wedding and event planning credentials in 2005. I changed careers from corporate sales
analyst to something that puts meaning and joy into my life every day. In no time I put it to good
use: one daughter married in 2006 and the other in 2007. I retired in 2020 but continued to
