THE SLEUTH SOCIETY

Curiosity Has a Headquarters
Some of life’s greatest mysteries aren’t hidden.
They’re simply overlooked.
The Sleuth Society is where curious neighbors come to investigate odd happenings, follow interesting clues, solve puzzles, notice things everyone else walked right past, and occasionally ask questions nobody realized needed answering.
No crimes.
No danger.
Just curiosity, observation, exploration, and the persistent suspicion that something interesting is going on around here.
There’s Always a Case Open
Around here, a mystery doesn’t have to involve stolen jewels or suspicious strangers.
Sometimes it’s an object nobody remembers putting there.
A strange detail in an old photograph.
Something hidden in plain sight.
Or a question that starts with:
“Has anyone else noticed…?”
The Sleuth Society keeps track of them all.
Open Cases
Current mysteries waiting for curious neighbors to investigate.
Follow clues, explore Sarandipity, examine the evidence, and see what you can figure out.
New cases appear whenever something around town needs investigating.
Cold Cases
Not every mystery gets solved.
Cases that have gone quiet eventually make their way into the Cold Case files—where they’re always available for another set of eyes.
Maybe everyone missed something.
Case Files
The Society’s growing collection includes town mysteries, puzzles, curious discoveries, Gazette investigations, nature cases, and other things worth looking into.
You never know what the next file will contain.
Your Investigation May Take You Anywhere
A Case File doesn’t necessarily stay inside the Sleuth Society.
Clues may be tucked into stories at the Gazette, hidden inside a shop, waiting somewhere in Town Square, buried in the archives, or sitting on a page you’ve visited a dozen times without noticing.
Sometimes you’ll know exactly what you’re looking for.
Sometimes you’ll only know that something seems different.
That’s when things get interesting.
A Word From the Chief Inspector
Good sleuthing isn’t about knowing everything.
It’s about noticing things.
Read carefully.
Look twice.
Follow strange little details.
Ask ridiculous questions.
And never assume something is unimportant just because everyone else walked past it.
Curiosity is usually trying to tell you something.
Inside the Evidence Room
Some investigations require more than curiosity.
The Society keeps a collection of tools, puzzles, packets, and other supplies for neighbors who take their sleuthing seriously.
Or at least seriously enough to own a clipboard.
Evidence Packets
Printable investigations, clues, puzzles, activities, and case materials designed for solving at home or around town.
Tools of the Trade
Journals, observation tools, puzzles, detective-inspired resources, and other useful things for naturally nosy people.
The Mystery Shelf
Mysteries, cozy mysteries, curious books, recommendations, and stories for readers who enjoy having something to figure out.
Private Eyes
The Society has always suspected that Sarandipity’s neighbors notice more collectively than any one investigator could alone.
Private Eyes is where that curiosity becomes part of the Society.
Future investigations may ask neighbors to report discoveries, submit theories, compare observations, share unusual finds, or help crack a particularly stubborn case.
No trench coat required.
Neighborhood Watch
Not watching for trouble.
Watching for wonder.
Notice something interesting around Sarandipity?
A tiny change. A hidden detail. Something new. Something odd. Something everyone else seems to have missed?
That’s exactly the sort of thing the Society wants its neighbors watching for.
Sleuth School
Every good investigator starts by learning how to look.
Sleuth School is where curious neighbors can sharpen the skills behind every great investigation—observation, deduction, puzzles, patterns, research, curiosity, and asking better questions.
Future lessons, challenges, and activities may appear here as the Society’s files grow.
Because the difference between seeing something and noticing it can change the entire case.
From the Inspector’s Log
Not everything the Society discovers becomes a Case File.
Some observations are better recorded in the Inspector’s Log—stories about curiosity, mysteries, unusual discoveries, observation, puzzles, books, nature, forgotten history, and things worth taking another look at.
Selected entries may occasionally find their way into The Sarandipity Gazette.
Nothing to Report.
Which, according to the Chief Inspector, is exactly what someone would say when there was something to report.
The Log is still collecting its first entries.
Before You Leave…
Take another look around.
No, really.
Another look.
The Sleuth Society has a habit of hiding interesting things where perfectly reasonable people wouldn’t think to look.
Some are clues.
Some are surprises.
Some don’t mean anything at all.
Probably.
